mine does at around 98degrees farenheight... which is coincidentally the same temperature as a human...

I like to keep it on a simmer at a low heat before taking it up to the 90's and watching it froth over

98 actually isn't the temp of a human being. That statistic was taken from a bunch of white guys during WWI.

Btw...mine burns at about 100 degrees.

Mine is set on simmer at all times.......

That way it takes very little to bring it to a boil...
