This is a multi-stage process. You must digitize the music that is on your record in analog form. There are several ways to do this, depending upon what kind of equipment you have. If you have a Macintosh, you can probably plug your record turntable right into your computer, going through an amplifier, of course. This will require the right connecting cables, usually with RCA jacks.
Then, you will need a special program that will convert the sound file into an mp3 or some other form that your iPod can recognize.
This sounds complicated, but it's really not too bad. Just do some searches on the Net for some step-by-step procedures for the equipment that you already own and you'll be converting files in no time.

Have fun.

Get the right cables, connect them to your line-in on your PC, Use Software like Sound forge to record from the LP and convert them into MP3 or any other supporting formats using the software. :)
