This is more than likely what is known as 'withdrawal bleeding' - very often when you stop taking the pill mid cycle you will bleed - it is neither a period or ovulation - just withdrawal - you could now ovulate at anytime - so potentially any day is a fertile day - unless you are using a method of detecting ovulation so you can be certain of what day you ovulate.
I hope this helps,
Joanne

Well it could be either really. Could be spotting which you can get when you are pregnang and it could be your period. Wait four weeks from when you stopped taking your pill and then do a pregancy test, if you have not had your period before then. See what happens but take things one step at a time.you dont want to get to upset when your period comes if it does.
Good luck

It could be both and if you've been on the pill for a while before this, could result in a multiple birth. You really should be off the pill for 3 months before trying to get pregnant.

If you took the pills and stopped taking them then it's most likely your period. I would wait till the next cycle starts to start ttc, your body needs time to eliminate the hormones it took in while you were on the pill.
