I'm not sure if this is the problem or not, but I used to own a 1981 VW Rabbit Diesel, and the AC wouldn't alway drain sufficiently, so I had to unhook the drainage hose and unclog the junk up in there and then reconnect it so it would drain properly. Then and only then would the ac actually blow cold air. If your car has a similar system to my old VW, you may have a drainage problem from the summertime, and it won't blow out hot air till you get the junk drained out of your system. Just a thought. God Bless you.

Code states that unmarried wall vent pipe won't be able to be interior of 6" of a flamable floor, like timber, cardboard, and so on... some inspectors will fail an installation like yours because the sheet rock has paper on it. you need to be able to bypass to lowes/abode depot and purchase a wall thimble. that is a flashing that is going on both area of the vent and creates an air area between your vent pipe and the sheet rock. also you may screw/nail it to the wall to get rid of your draft difficulty. once you've double wall vent pipe you want a a million" clearance.

Hey, I liked your answer to my political enlightenment question, I really appreciate it. Your Dad sounds amazing.

Anyway, I read your questions and wanted to say that I wish your son safety and your family strength and wisdom. May this all be over soon.

I don't know a single soldier in Iraq but I think about them every day, if not every minute, and I will be thinking about your son. Take care.

It's your heater core. one of the hoses is off, or the core itself has gone bad. take it to a mechanic if you're not experienced working on cars.
