DANG!
First off, there is NO WAY any child (Yes I said child) that should be allowed to waste that much money on any party.
Yes, I know turning 16 is a big deal. But with things costing what they do, people should be more responsible.
Just have a simple party for some of your closest friends/family.
Depending on where you live, go to the amusement park for the day and just have a blast. Or rent a movie house for you and your friends and have them play a couple of films you all would like to see (either PG or PG13).
Save some of that money for college or a car...be realistic!
Or, better yet, if you have that kind of money...donate it to a local charity and give a child with the same birthday as yours a party. They probably never had one and would really appreciate it. Especially if they are in a children's hospital with an incurable disease...it could be their last, you may have many more to come.
In other words, don't think about yourself...think about others. You'd be surprised how good it'll make you feel...

maybe you could have a party with some close friends and then give away some of that money to charity as your parents clearly have more money than sense and seeing how that money could help people a lot worse off than you might teach you the value of money a bit more

Buy yorself a Harley Davidson 883 hugger, after your first ride, you'll never want to ride anything else! ( well maybe one thing when you get older! Ha Ha)
