If I transfer music to my iPod, and then delete them from my computer, will they remain on my iPod? If not, is there a way to do this? The problem is, my iPod can hold 60GB, but my computer can only hold 40GB. I want the files to stay on my iPod, but I don't want them on my computer.

Yes, just put it in "manual mode" unsteed of auto. Then, when you plug it in it in it won't do anything-you control it so you have to add the songs, and you have to take them away.

Yeah they will stay on there as long as you change the settings on your itunes program so it is manually updated. I have the same problem.
