I was wondering how far this goes myself. I personally know of a person professing to be an atheist who loves the Christmas holidays and all that comes with it (including days off with pay).
As a christian man, it's both amazing and insulting, the level of hipocrisy the world and the government shows concerning religion. Let's pray that they all find themselves and God before it's too late.

I'm an atheist.
I'd prefer not to have a monument to the ten commandments outside a courtroom, because then that's saying that it's okei for other religions, Islam, Budhism, Satanism, to put their monuments up. What is allowed for one religion, is to be allowed for all.
I don't like a few things about christianity, but that's mostly because I read the Bible, and I doubt that most christains have.
Christmas: most things done around christmas are traditions. I don't expect to get a bonus or a gift, but it is nice. it's a time to spend with the people you really care about, and reflect on the past year, and make plans for the new one.
In god we trust: Most people in the US believe in god. I don't. I don't get my panties in a bunch.

What and lose money? You must be kidding me. When the decision is between the two the majority will choose money. In today's greed society there is no question of the answer.
You can bet that they will accept Christmas bonuses/

Hey,
are you trying to express that Christmas is a pagan holiday ? What about those Christians becoming political sheep of Bush, and what about them trying to force Christianity down peoples throats and go back to the biblical days of living and forcing sunday worship.
This is a false Christianity movement. They preach a DIFFERENT Jesus than the one in the Holy Bible. They are for the most part, the opposite of all Jesus said, stood for, and came for.

The origins of Christmas are pagan. The holiday originally existed to celebrate the 're-birth of the sun god' NOT the birth of the son of God. That said, I don't mind if you feel like celebrating Christ's birthday on this pagan feast day.
And there are plenty of people who believe in God, but don't believe He is accurately represented by your favorite book.
And in anticipation of your next question, Easter actually has more to do with eggs and bunnies than Jesus. And that's a fact.

Christmas is a secular holiday according to a US Supreme Court decision. Besides if your place of business closes down for the day you don't have a choice. Same for money. As a matter of fact I bet you would accept pay with money that doesn't say it!!!

Got news for you, buddy. Christmas has been so commercialized and infused into the world's culture now that the birth of your "saviour" means diddly. Now, Christmas means to be kind to others for one month out of the other 11 months of the year. You can thank Hallmark for that.

Far to many people, yet they complain about how it is not politically correct. Without Christmas, there would not be any breaks in winter, unless if they are asked for, but that is more personal.

Assuming the Biblical account is correct, and if God judged himself according to the ten commandments, he would not make it to heaven either. God is guilty of murder (both actual murder and by your definition that hating someone counts as well). God is guilty of sleeping with another man's fiancee. God is guilty of coveting (he is a jealous god that demands all worship of other gods be turned to him). So, did Jesus die for God's sins too, 'cause he isn't making it to heaven either.
