I don't think it's possible to dunk from the three point line, but if it were, I assume they would give you 3 points.

No! Dunking is one of the most exiting things in sports. Also, People like Earl Boykins and Steve Nash can't dunk. And if dunking is such a "skill-less act" lets see you dunk! Plus, there is such thing as a one run homerun. Thats one point, but in baseball, you score faster with homeruns, right? NO! A dunk can be 2 or 3 points. If you dunk on a fast break with no one covering you, you can just dunk the ball and get 2 points. If you dunk with defense trying to block you, you can get an AND1. Make the free throw and you have got yourself a 3 point play off of a dunk.

Obviously it's 2 because the player has to cross the 3 point line to dunk it.

I don't think it's possible. In the Rockets vs Trail Blazers game on January 26, one of the Blazers shot a 3, and his teammate dunked it as it was going in. They called it offensive goaltending because the ball was still in the cylinder, so the basket didn't count at all.

More proof: In the Rockets vs Sixers on January 30, one of the Sixers shot a 3, it bounced off the front of the rim, and one of his teammates rebounded the ball dunked it in for 2 points all in one motion.

As long as you take off from behind the line, it is 3 points. If you know anyone who can do this, I want him on my team ;^)

i beleive it would be worth 2 points since your body or feet would no longer be outside the 3 point line but i would give anyone that made it the extra point
