Girl, every hospital has CNA's. Most CNA jobs are at nursing homes and hospice, but the hospital has to have CNA's too. The CNA is the actual worker. Think about it. When the doctor needs something done, he tells his nurse, when she needs something done, she tells her CNA. My mother and sister both have their CNA license, but do not use it. The town we are in does not have a high demand for CNA's anymore. The classes are very easy and cheap!!! Good luck, and don;t give up...I promise somewhere near you is a hospital in need of a CNA!

I have known some CNA's that work in hospitals but it is usually on floors that require more care like geriatric and pediatric wards. I am not sure about labor and delivery though. When I had my children there were only doctors and nurses on the floor.I would check with your local hospital's personnel department and see.

wow you are going to hate this job. Is is a lot of hard work and you don't make much money. Most CNA's work in nursing homes because it is so hard to get into the hospitals. Think about it twice because in the hospital you are going to work harder than you have ever worked before.
