Its hard to say for sure, because everyone is different. I would suggest to you that you get an empire waist gown, and that should be fine. Ive also seen a dress with a corset back so that it was an adjustable dress to acommodate a pregnant belly. That is nearly midway and again, some are not showing too much and others are bigger. But look around and see if an empire waist would do better for you. That is what I would suggest.

Everyone gains pregnancy weight at their own rate so it's hard to really tell how much bigger you'll get. However, you can always ask the sales person. I had to do that. I bought my wedding dress when I was two months pregnant. I told the sales woman that I would be five months pregnant at my wedding and she suggested going up two sizes because it could always be taken in, but it's a lot harder to let out if there's not enough fabric. I'm glad I did because even though I wasn't as big in the chest yet, it fit perfectly around my stomach. Don't worry, they're there to help you. Just make sure you give them enough time to do alterations. Good luck and congratulations.

Depends, this is your first right? With my first i was just starting to show at about 20 weeks pregnant (5 months) With my second I looked like i was 7 months pregnant and had quite the belly on me! LOL. They say you gain faster with your second. I'd buy at least a size higher but make sure your tailor can take it out if necessary. Or go with an empire waist so it wont matter if you go up a little or not.

It is impossible to know. At 5 months I was the same size as before I got pregnant, some women are much bigger.
Is it possible to get something with an empire waist.
If not buy big and the you can have it take in?

I agree with the others...you never can tell.
Problem with ordering even a size or two bigger is that you're not just gaining weight, you're gaining *pregnancy* weight. It's carried totally different than just plain fat.
If you can order something with a high waist, you may be better off. Good luck with the baby!

It's depends how you carry your weight during your pregnancy. I have high blood pressure so I had lots of water weight, carried it all over. It's better that you order a dress way too big than one that is too small. It's much easier for a tailor to take in the dress than to let it out.

It depends on how you carry. Some people stay small until seven or eight months, others at three months look like seven.
I would go to a bridal shop, tell them you are pregnant, and see what they say.
There could dresses to make you look smaller
Good Luck

You never can tell... honestly, I wold wait to get the dress until the time gets closer... go ahead and order it, but then take it to get altered about 2 weeks before hand, because between now and then, you may gain 10 lbs or you may gaind 40 lbs... You never can tell ahead of time how the pregnancy will go..
