She is having what you call a drop-in.between the hours of 5pm to 8:00pm.. Its like people who have anniversarys and you just show up between those hours and you bring a gift and eat cake, visit, what ever... Do you think this is a good idea? Expecially because its hard to get people to confirm they are coming? What do you think?

It would be on the weekend... and the hours are adjustabl/flexable.. Some people can't make it at a certain time, this way they are able to get there later.

It's a good idea when it's hard for people to get together at the same time but they want to spend a little time with you on your special day.

either way she would have to prepare for a number of people, they come all at one go or drop in every now and then, plus will she have a couple of cakes because she would need to blow the candles and eat it with the guest.
No it doesnt make sense, she should invited and state that the candles would be blown at X time and everyone should be there before the cake comes out!

Heres a quote for the cardboard ''you comprehend your ageing while the candles fee better than the cake'' and you'd be able to easily placed like a huge cake on the cardboard with the form of candles shes turning.

Seems fine, otherwise you would have a big crowd to entertain for a long time.
