Unfortunately I am single, so certain suggestions just aren't possible - more's the pity!

Here are some easy and simple steps that you could follow:
1. Don't drink pop after six
2. Get ready for bed an hour early
3. Start reading a book about a half an hour before you usually go to sleep
4. Before you go to bed make sure everything that was needed to be done like homework or choirs is finished

I just read a study that elevating your body temp 90 minutes or so before bed can help. So a bath is good, but their best recommendation was a sauna. Do you belong to a gym that has one? Other things are lavendar oil (a very little bit) sprinkled on your sheets, warm milk, or yoga a couple of hours before sleep. And the biggest thing is, don't obsess about not being able to sleep or you never will!

Funny you should ask that question, I just asked my doctor yesterday the same question. I was told that I had insomnia that comes on gradual then hits you hard. She told me lots of interesting things about it. Long story short, she also told me that taking over the counter meds were bad because most of them had the "hang-over" effect. She prescribed a med for me that was only $7 for a month supply and had virtually no side effects. She also said it would take 3-4 days before it kicks in full effect, so I'm waiting for a good nights sleep too! Good luck and don't be afraid to ask a professional.

Get on a regular schedule. Try going to bed at the same time every night and getting up at the same time. Also, don't take naps or over sleep too much b/c then you won't be tired at the end of the day.

- Eat before seven.
- Drink a hot drink before you go to bed.
- Take a warm bath or shower because it can make you fall asleep easier.
- Read a book before going to bed.
- Do not do any work or homework in your room because it will ruin the sleeping environment. Only use your bed room for sleeping and sex.
- Remove electric appliances from your room, TV for example or the computer.
- Make sure you do sports in the afternoon, it will make you tired and it will make you fall asleep easier.
- Make sure that you will also get enough sleep.
- Put lavender fragrances around your bed and make your bed smell fresh and nice. Lavender can make you fall asleep fast, no lavender? Use camomile.
- Good luck!

First, take 2 Tylenol Pm's, then take a nice hot bubble bath. Then go to bed and read for about 20 minutes or until you can no longer hold your eyes open. You'll sleep like a baby.

Have a night cap (whiskey would be perfect) then sex.

If that doesn't work, sleep diagonally (don't ask me for the logic behind this, it works for me most of the time).

If all else fails, throw your pillow down to the other end of the bed and sleep with your head at the foot of the bed.

Sweet dreams!

Hey sounds like you have a friend up top?

I heard that the worst place to be if you are not tired is in bed, if you are wide awake in bed get up and make warm drink, watch tv or something. Only get into your bed if you are tired. Try a sleeping aid, that might help.

Close your eyes.
Listen to music or the radio and put it on the sleep timer.
Starting with your feet, relax all the muscles in your body. By the time you're done, you should be asleep.
Don't consume caffeine after lunch.
Drink herbal tea before going to sleep.

Make up a story. I've been making up a story for about a year now. I only manage a little bit each night and then I fall asleep. One day I might even write it down (although it's pretty pants so I probably won't). Works for me, anyway!
