i no nothing about ipods, my brother had gave me his old one.., i had to go buy the cord in order to download and charge it up... it charged for a while then all it shows is a pic of a battery with a triangle witha exclamation point in it... but i dont see where a battery could go..? it is a apple ipod looks like the ones you get off of a itunes... so could there be a battery somewhere? what is wrong with it?

i need to know how to get to the battery? it looks like there is no way to get inside? is there a trick to getting to it? how much do the batteries run if it is the battery?

It does have a battery it's inside, you can't take them out or put them in, think of the whole thing as a battery. if there is something wrong with the battery you can take it to an apple store and they can fix it for you in a couple days for a fee or for free if you have apple care (the warranty)

I think maybe you should try to get ahold of customer service with apple or call a place like Best Buy or a major electronic store and them what you should do. You probably just need to get the battery replaced. Good Luck

some of the first generation ipods had batteries that had problems. i would go onto the apple website and there should be a place to enter the serial number and find out if yours is one of those. the battery is not replaceable by you.

That just means it need to be charged, charge it by plugging the bigger side of the cord into the i-pod, and the smaller part into the computer. Once you think it is done, click the little button with a triangle with a line under it, so your I-pod dosnt loose the software.

The pic means it is charging. I have an ipod and i'm almost positive that's what you are talking about.
