The Dublin Airport - Belfast course is now being operated by utilising Bus Eireann. The provider is named the X2 limited-access highway, runs non-furnish as much as Belfast in an hour and 40 5 minutes and departs at 06:40 5, 09:40 5, 11:40 5, 13:40 5, sixteen:40 5 and18:40 5. in spite of the reality that, nowhere on the Bus Eireann internet internet site does the fare look. they are saying that tickets for the provider would desire to be provided on the CIE table interior the arrivals hall yet do no longer say how plenty it is going to probable be. that is no longer completely useful, besides the shown fact that the fare to Derry is very one in all of the extra high priced ones (€20 single/€27 return) so i will't think of of the Belfast provider would desire to prefer to well worth to any quantity better than this with the aid of fact it incredibly is a plenty shorter adventure.

Very simple. Follow the signs in Belfast for M1 or Dublin. Its a straight road down, after you turn off at Lisburn / Sprucefield then through Newry over the border to Dundalk. Its motorway (M1) from Dundalk to Dublin Airport and will take about 40 mins from Dundalk and maybe 1hr 40 from Belfast to Dublin. There is a toll on the M1 in Ireland at Drogheda (€1.60)
I would drive down if you can or have a car, or you can get a bus from Europa bus station for cheap and would take a similar time.

Leave Belfast on the M1. Just follow the sign posts. Its a good road and when you get onto the new motorway in the south (just past Newry) have your euros ready. The last time I was there the toll was 1 euro 60 cents.
