How popular is it in your area?

Do you think House music is adequately promoted?

I only like some house bands, but its only because I know of very few of them. However, I am a huge fan of electro, like Le Tigre, Chicks On Speed, Tracy & the Plastics, Miss Kitten, Adult, Ladytron, The Faint, Goldfrapp, Peaches, Mindless Self Indulgence, and all that good stuff. This type of music is fairly popular where I am from (houston). I have heard different types of house when I go to clubs but I can honestly say I am not too familiar with many of those types of bands that people are into.
