I think it's a male stereotype.

So I make sure I tell them I have many dark roots under this long blonde hair.

LOL :-)

GOD bless us.

Well it depends. Dose the blonde give them self the title as dumb? like I know alot of blondes (including myself) who aren't dumb. I see it as if someone wants attention and by chance they are blonde they can "use it to their advantages".

Blonds dumb? Intellectual power is overrated and look at the sales of chemicals to make your hair a fake-blond.

There are a lot of blonde's out there where their collar does not match their cuffs. or do not have matching luggage, (if you get my drift), who act like the so called dumb, full blooded, collar, cuff, luggage matchin, Blonde's. So, it is hard to say.

The Dumb Blonde's Jokes probably got the Dumb Blonde's thing going. And, a lot of the blond movie stars use to act as dumb blonde's.

Now they have the men doing the dumb things in Sit Com's, Commercials and Comedy's, and making them look like ignorant idiots.

blame marilyn monroe < original ditzy blonde.

she was not naturally a blonde however and the dumb act went hand in hand with the peroxide. it worked! so...other have followed suit. its an act that begs for an audience.

It's just one more stereotype based on scant observation and no basis on reality.
