there are many reasons why women go off sex,and if they feel sake in an atmosphere that encourages emotional release they will feel free to express why,and how it feels for them to have gone off sex.
if a woman goes off sex, she has lost something so for number one she is experiencing loss.
confrontation is a very harsh way to help a woman talk freely. remember woman are usally very honest and open creatures,and just need to feel safe to share the truth.
If most people are confronted about anything they usually becime defensive and argue.
I can understand if your partner has gone off sex,and the pain you are going through,but sit quietly with your feelings and apologise for your confrontation because it is a little harsh to confront someone who is feeling pain.
Try not to confront,and give her a hug instead,and feel gratefull its not you who has gone off sex.
going off anything is pewrfectly natural,and sometimes these matters go away with a little patience and sensitivity.
maybe some women just go off sex with a certain person.who knows.

Women don't "go off sex" (and there should not ever be a time when a woman is "confronted" about sex). They just aren't inspired to go the extra mile and have sex. It's hard to tell a man to his face that he doesn't know a single thing about foreplay. If you were doing everything you should be doing, you wouldn't have to ask for sex. Help her around the house, hold her hand, touch her without expecting sex, help with the kids, take care of dinner, ask her what she likes and what she wants and DO THAT. You will get better results. Which woman? Where? Sweety, we're not all the same, you know. However, you need to bare in mind that all females of all species have a "period" (pardon the pun) where mating is favourable and it as these times that they become more interested in sex. I'm afraid it's a nature thing and we really don't have any control over it. We weren't really designed to have sex for recreational purposes, so that's probably your reason.
However, having said that, perhaps you ought to practice with a little seduction/foreplay to get your girl in the mood.

could be that they are too embarressed to say the real reason why so they cover their embarressment with a row. it can be a tough subject to bring up try asking outside of the bedroom so they dont feel threatened , try not to make it into a big deal and just keep the conversation light she may open up to you and you can then try to work out any problems there may be xx

Why don't you ask her? Only she knows why she doesn't want sex at the moment. Pressuring her will make her defensive and arguementative. You need to talk to her, not accuse and not attack. Maybe then you will find the common ground that brought you together in the first place.

Do you ever talk to your girlfriend/partner? Do you show her any affection at all? Or is it she doesn't want you any more. Truth is men are not able to show any feeling at all and can't see anything in front of them. There are a few that can but most can't. If a lady where a gadget you'd know what to do but feelings you all don't have a clue.

sometimes women go off sex because the drive i not there, they are not in the mood, and to save hurting his feelings she would rather not say anything, so it causes a fight, then you both go to sleep in a bad mood....not good

Ever heard of the chips and the pasta story? Chips is something we all (almost) like all the time. However pasta is something we fancy ocassionally.
