I miss the "thumbs down" on questions....=_= Asians are not any more controlling than people of other races. As a matter of fact, few non-Whites in America have high-ranking coporate jobs.

Asians generally have a collective culture. This means there is a greater emphasis on the family a whole rather than the individual. Everyone does their part to support one another. Asian parents demand respect and discipline from their children. Asian place a high value on education. Parents to push their children to suceed academically, so that one day they will get a good job.

I think this question is a little broad and a little stereotypical, it doesn't take any race to be stereotypical. Women in general can be very controlling, I know I am. It's the Asians that you've met, their race shouldn't matter.
