It all depends what it's made of.
You can enamel repair kits that involve painting several layers of enamel and chemicals on the effected area. They are excellent and you would never know there was a mark......but there expensive. Last one i saw was about £50, but its cheaper than a new bath.
If it's plastic, there are resin kits that you can dye to match your bath/ jacuzzi, but there more obvious as colour matching is an exact science. These are relativly cheap..not sure about actual price though.
You can find them all on Ebay if you want.

chips can be repaired, whether the bath is cast iron or plastic. there are kits available for this. try a specialist bathroom shop or B&Q may have some.i once used ordinary enamel paint from a hobbies shop and it worked ok for years.if its a white bath, remember there are many shades of white so an exact match is unlikely. arent you lucky to have such a small problem in life, haha good luck.

The are specialist company's who can repair the Gel Coat on a bath. The important thing to be aware of is if the hole is deep water can penetrate the material of the bath (Fibre Glass matting) and cause more damage as well as providing and infection risk due to water stagnating if it soaks into the matting)

Like Matured I used ordinary enamel paint,
Rather than painting it on I used a match stick to let it drip on the crack this had the advantage of building up heavy coats. i don't know if I was just lucky with the colour, but it worked well and it was hard to see where it had been repaired.

I have had one in my bath for about 6 years I filled it and covered the bottom of it with clear silicone sealant. It has never leaked since. Hope this helps, it's certainly cheaper than a new tub!!
