Fold a clean white cotton cloth a few layers thick and put it over the area. Iron with a low setting. The wax will melt and soak into the cloth. You may need to change cloths or to a clean area of the cloth and repeat a few times.
Be careful with the heat of the iron. Make it barely hot enough to melt the wax and don't put it directly onto the carpet. It could melt too!

Apply ice to the spilled wax to harden it, then scrape or pick away any tht you can. Next, find a heavy, large paper grocery bag and heat up your iron. Place the paper bag over the wax spots and iron the sack in the spotswhere the wax is. Move the paper sack around and just keep ironing--the wax will absorb into the paper and the wax will be "melted out"!

Take a sheet of wax paper and place it over the wax. Heat an iron and then iron onto the wax paper. This should melt the wax and it should stick to the wax paper, then you can just lift the wax paper with the candle wax attached. It has worked for me. Good luck!

Wait until the wax hardens (or use ice) and pick the remnants of wax off the carpet fibers with a butter knife or your fingernails. If the coloring in the wax has stained the carpet, you're pretty much out of luck.

Place a paper bag over the wax. Use your iron on a low setting. Go over the paper bag untill the wax is lifted up onto the bag. It may take several bags.

Cover the wax with a light cloth and apply a very hot iron.
(iron is the one you use for pressing clothes)

If you place ice on the spot, it will freeze the wax. This will make it britle and you can break it and easily remove it from the carpet. Good luck.

put a big thick rag over the wax and iron it on medium heat, it'll come off the carpet and stick to the rag.
