A blood test will show if you are pregnant or not 7 days following conception.

Here is when you can take an at home test:
If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

I used two pregnancy tests a full seven days before my period was due and both were positive! (I was pregnant)
Good luck

A blood test will come back positive earlier than a urine test. Most urine tests don't work too well before you've missed your period - I'm surprised you've wasted your money on 4 of them already, since even the best "early" ones are only about 50% accurate 5 days before your missed period (according to the stats on the box, anyway).

Blood tests are more sensitive than urine tests because all you need on a blood test is a reading greater than 5 most HPTs don't detect the hormone until 20-25. I wouldn't however go to the doctor to get the blood test because its just an expense you should have to pay. I would just wait it out and see and then when you get a BFP then I would call the doctor.

No is not like a urine test to wait for missed period. The earliest I got it was two weeks old pregnancy. 1 1/2 weeks before my missed period.

Your fixation on it will stress you out so bad you don't have a chance!!!!!!!!!! Start mediating, NOW.....

Blood tests are normally accurate the day your period was supposed to begin, but the state of mind you're in it's academic.

Start breathing, relax, and stop this nonsense. You're being your own worst enemy here.
