okay. first of all. when a guy asks you out isnt he actually suppose to take you somewhere or is that just a form of becoming bf and gf. here's the question. there is this guy who is kind of new to our school. he came from australia in May. last year he used to make these really weird and mean comics about me and my friends said it was because he liked me. now he asked me out not on a date but to be gf and bf but i dont really know him all that well. plus i have 1/2 my classes with him and if i do say yes, id be totally bad to my reputation. what should i do. and i asked my friends and they said no way. also, im only in middle school and he's kind of cute but immature.

it affects my reputation because i kind of hang out more with the popular preps becasue thats what i am and hes a normal kid but classified as a loser and my friends think hes a loser too

Hold on, you're in middle school and he asked you on a date? How exactly do you expect to get there? Oh well, anyway, if you know you don't like him, just politely turn him down. But if you're not sure then why don't you ask him if you can invite some friends along and make it a group thing. That way he won't think it's anything too serious and you won't have all that pressure to deal with

obviously if youre that into your status, than you wouldnt feel comfortable and proud of him as a boyfriend. Youre ways are kinda shallow, to base someone only on their rep., I dont think youde be able to go on with the relationship that way, if youre not able to face the bad criticism, than just dont. Dont take anything I said personally, itll just hurt both of you in the end.

Sterotypes are stupid.
Middle School is worse than high School about sterotypes.
& If you like him, don't turn him down, just because your 'FRIENDS' classify him as a loser, cos you'll never know what youll be missing out on.

It's up to you. We can't really make up your mind for you. Go with what feels right. I wouldn't worry about what your friends think too much, if they think less of you for going out with this guy, you've got the wrong friends
