You should not be putting anything personal on any website, if you do your opening yourself up to all kinds of nutcases.
I never answer that question even on surveys in the mail, it's no ones business but yours and your partners if you have one.
Besides your income means nothing, it is all based on the cost of living where you are.
For example, $30 in a large city like New York is not enough to live on, where as in a small town it would be considered a high income.

Why not some people do it because they feel embarassed that their income is actually lower than what they are saying.

yeah its not like everyone doesn't do that and its not like they are actually going to find out thats not you income.. i have a myspace n i dont even work i have my income as $250,000 something like that..

yeah...who doesnt lie on myspace? heck im 15 and my income is $100,000...lol...but if your older and your on myspace because you actually want to meet people for serious relationships than its not okay ... :)because no one likes liars

It is never okay to lie, but if you are not comfortable with being truthful, then don't say anything.
