I live in the USA, and this "Sentia" person approached me to adopt her son to whom she purportedly gave birth on 17-JAN-2007. Her "roommate" is Sheila, and I was to send $2200 to her (Sheila) via western union so Sentia, her attorney "Barrister James Smith," and the child could all fly to the USA so she could give us her child. Western Union flagged the transaction and wouldn't let it go through. We're hurt and angry, and would love to find out if there is a way we can alert UK law enforcement as to the activities of this person/these persons.

Nigerian 419 scam.

Western Union, barristers, pastors etc.. it's a classic.

Look it up on the internet.

That's dumb. Even if you want to go through with a private adoption you still need to use an adoption agency.

You're lucky Western Union flagged your wire transfer and you didn't lose your money.
