i had an emergency c-section done about 3 weeks ago and up until yesterday, i was feeling pretty good other than normal aches here and there. but i was feeding my son and all of sudden i started having the worst pain in between my belly button and ribs (the whole mid section) and its been almost 24 hours and im still hurting and now i cant keep anything down. what could this be and has anyone else felt the same thing before?

(will be calling my dr. monday unless things get worse)

24 hr pan and vomiting? and you'd rather wait until Monday?? Call your Dr now, or even the ER. You may have an infection.

Okay, I've had 2 c-sections and its taken me about 6 weeks to really be back to normal. The stitches both internal and external are not totally healed at 3 weeks, so you may have pulled a stitch. Because you can't keep food down, I would call and have your doc paged to call you back TODAY. Also, at our hospital you can call the nurses in the birthing ward and ask them questions.

No i did not have anything like that. I did though have a panic attack (a bad one) to the point my chest was hurting so bad 2 weeks after i had my c-section.
I would go to the er if it gets worse. Hope you get better and congrats.

You should call the hospital now...why be in pain if they can call something in for you.

You didn't say if you were breastfeeding or not....if you are breastfeeding it was your body contracting....your uterus to be specific....it is shrinking and going back.

If you run any sort of temp.....GET into the ER NOW! Just call the doctor now, you've been in enough pain.
