I work in a hospital with all tile floors and my guy friend here has some new shoes. They aren't the tennis shoe type, more like dress shoes. They are like black dress shoes but with a good sole, like hiking shoes. I know that sketchers makes a pair like what I am talking about. Is there anything to do to the shoes that will make them not squeek or atleast sound a little better? It sounds like he is constantly walking in and out of water. Thanks for the help!

He had a pair of shoes before these that squeeked that were well worn in. It's the floor that does it! He knows he has squeeky shoes, everyone does. It's a laugh around here, but we'd like to be able to stop the problem!

Try waiting until they get a little worn out.A lot of NEW shoes squeak but once they get worn out the usually lose their squeakiness.

squeaks go away eventually as you wear out the shoe. just give it time.
