you should be old enough to remember Vietnam ...how everyone went north of the border to Canada...and you speak French...anything more obvious? I would do some research though. They might not be as receptive to fleeing now. I do not think a draft is going to come back as the dynamics of un-doing a policy takes time.Enacting policy takes a loooong time, so to get the draft back is not something high on the "do-list" and 2008 is an election year. I think you can relax and not pack your bags for awhile.

I am assuming that you live in America, so.... I would like to inform you that there WILL NOT BE A DRAFT. Just so you know, your more than likely listening to several liberals trying to turn people into anti republicans. Please do not worry about any of that because first off there is not going to be a draft. Secondly if your son is going to college he cannot be drafted. And finally, don't believe everything you hear on TV...

Just enjoy your life with your son, and know that nothing bad is going to happen to either of you.

Why would you flee? You and every citizen of this country share a common duty to serve and protect the land you live in.
In this day and age we flee from everything! Heck, nowdays people would rather claim bankruptcy than to face their financial obligations. What kind of character does that show?

The easiest and best place to go would be Canada but with our new government they might send you back. And what's this bull about fighting for your country. The war in Iraq has nothing to do with fighting for your country Follow my leader is a bunch of crap. Thought you people were free to think.

You should actually go there now. If you don't love the freedoms you have now enough to defend them you're no better than Hanoi Jane.

The French would LOVE to have you. They won't fight for ANYthing. You'd fit right in.

Canada. Especially if you know some French.

I can't believe you found it necessary to ask that.

What were you thinking, Zambia?
