Mario Winans - feat. Enya & P.Diddy - ‘I Don't Want To Know'

Mario Winans has had already had an illustrious career in production and song writing. He's been singing from a young age and has been mixing in the soul scene for some time. Mr P. Diddy thought it wise to sign this accomplished musician and has released his first debut album.

‘I Don't Want To Know' is the first single to be released of Winans' new album ‘Hurt No More.' It uses the sample from the Fugee's ‘Ready or Not' so I suppose Diddy was on to a winner already. The music is good and Winans' vocals are sweet and soulful. This is a serene and peaceful track that oozes sensitivity and heart to heart honesty. The piano adds a nice touch of class. Diddy adds his touch of mcing to make the track a little edgier. This track is successful in that it creates a good soul number but not as raw as I'd like.

‘Pretty Girl Bullsh*t' is grittier. Featuring Foxy Brown she compliments Mario soulfulness and the track is compact, bouncy and full of attitude. Not bad.
