People aren't emotionally mature enough to move out on their own until they are around 25 or so. Don't you notice, at 18 kids move out and then have to move back in?

But if it is bugging you and her that much, move out. I don't know about living with someone who has a boyfriend though. Walking around in pj's, and things..could get sticky.

you can move out if you want to, but make sure you have already graduated high school and are working full time. I can't move out of my Orange county home because its too expensive to find a place of my own around here so I'm just gonna have to stick around here for a while and I hate it too (sometimes)! there's actually good and bad things about living on your own and living with your parents still. if you really feel that you are ready and u have a place to go, then try it out! it can't hurt you and u'll soon feel how lucky it is to live with your folks till you can truly find and afford your own pad. =) good luck! some folks live in a dorm that's your age so you can do that too! or share a room with someone.

Move in with her, if your mom is always arguing with her, then just move out and solve the problem, get your own job and then she can't say anything to you. I know when I was younger, my dad and step mother bought my younger sister a car but didn't buy me one because they said I didn't deserve it because of my grades at school. they bought her a car, but then they controlled when she could use it, where she could go and who could go with her. I bought my own car, then nobody could tell me anything about where and when I went anywhere. It will be the same with you and your mom, just move in with your friend and share expenses, then you will be able to do what you want and not deal with your mom unless you want to.

It's not easy and just because you don't live on your own dose not mean anything! It's HARD out there and even harder when your trying to get an education!! But i think that you should ask yourself if your job is stable enough to move out!
Good Luck!

wow that really sucks that your mom is kicking you out like that. I wouldn't move in with your friend and her boyfriend things might get complicated. If you can afford it go live alone in some inexpensive place. or ask your mom if you can help with the bills and if that would let you stay or something.

Try and work stuff out with your mom- home is really the best place to be for the longest time you can... moving out is soooooo stressful- its really not all its cracked up to be ♥

Tell your mom to give you some time to get on feet b/c living on your own isn't easy b/c a person can't really handle things that quickly

move in with in your friend for a while. Just long enough to find your own place to live. And if you can't find one cheap enough to afford on you own, share it with another friend!
