I always consider about what will happen in the future if we withdraw now. What will happen to us, to the Iraqis and to the world? Will this action help us to avoid the 9/11-like event in the future?

If the U.S. were to withdraw the troops without putting down the terrorists, the terrorists would take over Iraq in a heartbeat and set up training camps.

Many people argue that the war is about oil -- it is -- but not to put money in someone's pocket. If the terrorists control oil and its flow, they control the world's economy -- not just the U.S. Oil runs our industry, but it also runs industry in developing countries. The terrorists could effectively shut us down.

As for what we can do to prevent another 9/11, personally I'm willing to have my bags searched at the airport, I don't call Pakistan or Afghanistan, but if I did, the government could listen in. I feel that I am not doing anything wrong, so I have nothing to fear. We just have to be alert to suspicious behavior and report it.

If we withdraw none it would mean all of our efforts are for nothing. I mean, we would not prove to the rest of the world that we are serious, and we mean business, plus I think there would be a lot more deaths, both Iraqi and American.
