This looks like a transcendental to me.
(1000 - 0.1y)exp(-0.0001y) = 200
(-0.0001y)ln(1000 - 0.1y) = ln(200)
(-0.0001y) = ln(200)/ln(1000 - 0.1y)
y = -10^4*ln(200)/ln(1000 - 0.1y)
y = (-52983.17367*10^4)/ln(1000 - 0.1y)
Iterating, using the constant as the initial guess,
-52983.17367
-60565.78049
-59788.84513
-59863.63415
-59856.39055
-59857.0917
-59857.02383
-59857.0304
-59857.02976
-59857.02982
y = -59857.02982
