These guys got so jealous of me walking up, sitting on my brother's lap, and burrowing my head into his chest.(he doesn't mind b/c I only weigh 98lbs.) We are just brother and sister. We are also very close to eachother. Why were they jealous??
He claims the guys like me.The whole school knows we are brother and sister and yet one of my guy friends tells me the other is jealous.Why??
What is wrong with two siblings who have been through a lot, being close?? What is wrong with doing this after my gymnastics meet when I was exhausted??

There is nothing wrong with that. I find that perfectly natural...and I am sooo close with my older brother. (i'm 14, he's almost 22)
They are just jealous because THEY want to be the ones who you are sitting on and hugging etc. It's alright, it's just teenage hormones.
Your behavior is normal and so is theirs. If you can't stand the guys, let them know or just ignore their comments. =]

I think it's just 'sitting on his lap' that weirded them out. There's something a little bit sexual about it even if it is innocent. Just like wrestling around on the floor with your brother would be a little bit sexual, too.
You're just approaching some limits that make people feel uncomfortable so be on the safe side and back off. Don't do those things. You can be close to your brother physically by putting your arm through his (but not holding his hand - do you see the difference?) You can be close to him by giving him a kiss on the forehead but not on the lips (remember when Angelina Jolie did that?) Ask a good friend to help you have the right kind of physical contact with a family member.... if you've been through a lot with your brother and feel close, you may have lost a feeling for certain boundaries, even though it is still innocent.

Well maybe it was odd. If the whole school knew you were brother and sister, and they saw you sitting on his lap burrowing your head in his chest might me kind of...freaky looking.

There is nothing wrong with siblings being close. I would have loved to have been that close but it didn't work out that way. Some families are just closer than others.

I think you shouldn't be sitting on your brother's lap and touching him the way you have been. I'm close to my brother but I don't touch him the way you do. I also think ya'll are a little bit closer than what you are saying.

jealousy is an evil thing....people get jealous because they want to be like you....they want to have someone that they can be close to....don't back down....just continue doing whatever makes you happy because you aren't on this earth to please others.
