Yes I think that there are already. When we are awake our brain generates a frequency of about 17 Hertz. If the brain, which many people believe, and if proved to generate a wave form with interferometric proprieties them we are telepathic already. A interferometer is device that uses the interference of waves to make precise measurements. If an our brains are capable of is already then I imagine it would be like every one with a mobile phone but we maybe unaware of anybodies elses phone number. :( This from internet...
7 SCALAR MIND CONTROL
In the early 1970's Hundreds of inmates at the Gunniston Facility of the Utah State Prison were subjected to scalar wave mind control. Inmates tried unsuccessfully to fight back in court. The University of Utah researched at that time how scalar waves could induce the mind into hearing voices, overriding and implanting thoughts into the mind, as well as reading the thoughts.

Not all of us, if anyone, if ever. I don't deny that occasionally I suspect that myself or someone else is capable of projecting things mentally that they aren't normally capable of - but I can't foresee a time in which anyone or everyone can do this at will... that would require a hell of a lot of very directed and selective breeding, if at all possible. Which would be silly.
Also, I think that the emotions and body language/ attitude that we all are capable of projecting are related to mental projections. I don't think there's actually a supernatural explanation for this all; just things we do without even realizing it, and humans being more conscious of each other, subconsciously, than we admit or realize, the way animals are. And than some people are more sensitive to this / able to read others' body language better than others.
Ever see a cat perk up and look around when another cat enters the room, silently and from behind? They both are aware of the other's presence (then again their hearing is better than ours, so perhaps they can hear each other at that decibel and we just can't).

A few times my daughter has been in the car with me, and I or she will say DID..or Was... and the OTHER will ask the question. The funny thing is we weren't talking or we weren't speaking about that particular subject or person. We'll both go "Oh my gawd, how did you know that I was gonna ask that?" We don't even live with each other, so thats weird to. We barely speak on the phone but maybe once a week for about 2 minutes. It would be cool if we knew what we were doing to make it happen more often, but we don't know and we haven't tried.I think by paying attention to someone's facial expressions and posture , you could tell alot already. I think maybe we will have evolved enough one day and be able to be telepathic. Another thing that happens to me is the phone will ring and before I answer it I will have been thinking of a particular person, and it will be them. People I hardly see.Sometimes I'll answer by saying "Hi Tom" or whoever and it will be them! I don't have caller I. D. either!

Members of the human race are telepathic, and scientists have been working for years to help develop that skill. Some of the work is done by the military - I had a friend who was with the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) and back in the 70's she was working on this kind of stuff.
But other scientists are openly working to develop these skills as well. Read "Radical Evolution" by Joel Garreau - in this book, he interviews scientists today who think this is only a matter of time. And very short time - in our lifetime, they feel confident they will be able to induce increased telepathic ability.

Yes I believe within at least 20 or so years. Most people can't or don't know how to hide their thoughts from a telepath. The pros being able to hear and communicate with others through minds. The cons not being able to stop others from hearing your personal thoughts

Yes and no. In about 500-1000 years, we will be able to communicate telepathically. but I don't think that Earth will be livable in that much time. The way we humans are going, polluting the air, and the water, we won't last that long. And when we use up all the resources on Earth, we will have to move to a different planet. And if we have not found one by then the whole of humanity we cease to exist. And then there won't be human beings, let alone humans who can communicate telepathically!

Yes, but not in the way you're thinking.
I rather suspect that we'll have "cellphone implants" that will let us call each other without a visible handheld object.
There was a movie on this theme, if I remember, in the 60s -- The President's Analyst. There's also a book by Larry Niven / Jerry Pournelle, Oath of Fealty. Both explore the concept a little.

No, I don't think the potential exists. Plus, we don't know about telepathic abilities in any other animals or how that might happen anyway. So now, I don't think we'll ever become telepathic. What would be the point anyway? We can talk or use hand signals or cell phones.

I don't think we will ever be telepathic. When a person metaphorically "builds a wall" sometimes it is for a reason. while it is a good thing communicate and to get things off your chest, some things are better left unsaid.

No. Telepathy is impossible. I can't even begin to think of the kind of ridiculously complex biochemistry which would be required for our brains to be able to transmit and receive information in that way. Besides, we have a perfectly good communication system already, there is no reason for such a trait to evolve
