Nope, just get your B.S.or B.A., then your M.A. or M.S., then you work on your PhD.

No. You go to med school to get an MD, you go to a regular grad school to get a PhD. Some people are actually crazy enough (and smart enough) to do both. My husband (a graduate of MIT, and wicked smart, I might add) was crazy enough to do both, but he didn't get into med school, so he just got a PhD.

No. People in these two fields do very different things. Physicians are concerned with improving peoples' health. Biologists ask questions about nature and try to find answers.

No. You need to hold a B.S. or B.A., preferably in Biology, and apply to a graduate program (usually a combination M.S./Ph.D) in Biology.
