usually the arithmetic operation between groups of expressions surrounded by parenthesis is either multiply or divide.
When the plus sign is the operation the parenthesis are superfluous. The expression results in exactly the same result whether they are taken into account or not. You may want to check what the original problems were.
(14x+4)+(14x+19)
=28x+23

(13x2+20x+9)+(10x2+11x+19)
=23x2+32x+28

(4x7+8x2+20x)+(10x6+4x3-14x2)
=4x7+10x6+4x3-6x2+20x

(-13x6-19x4+7x2+4x)+(13x7+16)
=13x7-13x6-19x4+7x2+4x+16
