Writing a letter is a good way to express your feelings in a comfortable way. It can also help to diffuse any anger between you both, as long as you are careful about how you write the letter. Write it when you have calmed down a little so that you can write your words in a less heated way, but make sure you express what bothered you or the situation will simply repeat itself. Also, if you apologize for anything you might have done wrong in the situation, that will help. Letters are actually more personal than phone calls, and you are more likely to be able to express everything you need to without the pressures of argument and confrontation you would have in a face to face discussion. Later on it can be followed up with a personal talk, if necessary.

I would listen to your friend. She's right. If you and your mom are having an arguement, you need to tell your mom that your sorry and that you guys should try to work things out. If you don't write a letter or talk to your mom at all, then the relationship between the both of you could die out, and you may never want to see your mom ever again.

If you don't know what to do, then maybe writing a letter would be a great idea. I know that I am much better when it comes to writing my feelings. It will give you time to explain how you feel without anybody butting in. After she reads how you are feeling then maybe it will be easier for her to talk to you about why she is mad at you.;

I think you should listen to your heart. That you even asked this question tells me you care very much for Mom. Go and ask her why she's mad. It's better to talk to your Mom now . One day she'll be gone and you would give anything to here her yell at you one more time.
My Mom was my best Friend and I lost her a few years ago. I sure wish I could go ask"why" she's mad at me.
You only have one Mom in this life. Cherish her while you can. Go talk to your Mom, I wish I could talk to mine Good Luck to you.

Instead of writing a letter, you should call her and set up a time when you and your mom can talk things out!

Depends on what happened between you and your mother and what kind of advice your bff gave you, it also depends on how you feel and what you want to do, if you wan to write your mother a letter then do it, if you want to call her do it, but it is really up to you.

great idea. if you don't think you can talk to her face to face then a letter is the next best thing. sometimes we're able to say whats on our minds without getting tonge tied that way. i had to do that with my dad once- it worked. good luck.

Talk to your mom.I wouldn't exactly write a letter to her but sit down and talk to her and ask her why she's been so mad at you.
