i am facing problem to format a new floppy,after execution, a a message appears:floppy can not be formated.(floppy is new one,&drive is ok)what is the problem?please suggest.

Some floppys are double sided or double density or both. Are you going for 1.44 MB? Try another brand or type if it still does not work.

Maybe your drive has dirty heads? or theres just some bad sectors on the disk.. just cuz its a new disk dosent mean its a good one... I didnt even know they made floppy's anymore Havent seen one of those in eons..

Have you tried Viagra? It won't be floppy after that

floppy is no good i have got some like that buy some new ones they are preformatted
