it really depends on your HCG level. Like mine showed up 2 weeks on the dot. Although my HCG / quant levels was high. Sometimes it may take that extra week " 3 " to show up on a pee on the stick.

I had a negative test result 15 days after ovulation, and a positive result 20 days after ovulation. This was with a urine test from the hospital (a bit more accurate than the home pregnancy tests). For some women it takes even longer for a positive result to show. For a home pregnancy test, I'd wait at least until you've actually missed your period - I was so sad after I got that (false) negative result, even though I knew it was probably too early to know for sure.

Every woman is different. All i know is I found out at 9 days past ovulation with a New Choice Dollar Store Test. I know it sounds stupid, but all of my friends who had tried to conceive said they were just as accurate as the First Response test, because they detect the exact same level of HCG in your urine. Trust me, those things work miracles! If you have any questions, just got to www.peeonastick.com. It is an amazing site that will answer any question you have about pregnancy testing.

For best results test the morning after you miss your period. Some tests (the expensive ones) can tell you up to 5 days before you miss your period, but the odds of a false negative increase each day you test before you miss. Read the back of the boxes to find the test that's best for you, but my advice is to wait til you miss then use the cheapest test (try the dollar store).

the soonest varies from person to person. I've heard as soon as 10dpo, to as late as 18dpo. Testing at 14dpo is usually accurate.
