Women are often held as examples in the courts and given far worse sentences then the male counterpart. You really need to look at your countries laws and you will then plainly see that vast inequality exists daily in the courts as far as crimes by women being punished more harshly.

You do realize at your age that there is a difference between men and women? There are not enough women committing any type of crime to be able to get a piss ant around the inside of a cheerio. 97% of all incarcerated felons are men. 30 to 40% of these men are accounted violent, by one criteria, or the other. About 7% of female prisoners are considered violent. It is rarer then hens teeth for women to commit heinous felonies and the law reflects this in sentencing mitigation. If you had studied this, instead of getting on your ideological high horse, you could have saved us all the typing time.

If I were in a jury, I'd be hard pressed finding a 25 year old female teacher guilty of statutory rape if she had a casual relationship with a 15 year old male student unless there were issues such as STD or obvious physical abuse.
I would feel quite differently if the sexes were reversed. Then again, I once was a 15 year old male student, and in hindsight cant see how something like this could have hurt had it happened to me.

It is hard to imagine women being cruel enough to commit horrendous acts of violence, therefore they must have "had a good reason for what they did".
In today's society women can kill their children and pretty much get away with it. They were suffering from post par tum depression or were unstable because their husbands didn't help them enough with the kids.
What if the man killed his kids he would be the biggest monster alive, there would be no excuses for him.
HS Sweetness... Men and women can be aroused without wanting to.
One of the reasons many women feel shame after a rape is they unwillingly became aroused. It was a physical response not mental.

He grew to become into basically making miracles for god. The anti-abortionistas unquestionably have self belief in NO EXCECPTION for rape, or maybe whilst a mothers existence is in risk. basically as they're even against birth control of any style. The Republicans have no purpose of ever outlawing abortion. with the help of promising to, like Bush did, they're going to shop conning the poor cons out of their votes. Conservative Christians have been conned into serving Mammon with the help of the money changer Republicans.

When a woman commits a crime it's unbelievable and excuses are made. This is Wrong so wrong. Lady Justice time to wake up!!!!!You are right it should be equal. I think the justice system tends to treat woman different as they can't imagine a woman committing such crimes. We are suppose to be gentle, nurturing, loving half of the human species.Incapable of such acts. Wrong again! Sad to say many woman can and will commit horrendous acts of violence. Lets label them as we see them Criminals!!!
Each person who commits breaks the law needs to be treated equal> Time to get hard on woman!

cuz if a woman rapes, nothing is gonna happen unless the man is ..aroused..and thats his "fault"
and only rlly sick women kidnap..cuz they are the ones who are most attached to kids!
murder--i guess society just considers women to be more innocent than men, cuz women were inferior for sooo long
if a man is being touchy with a girl, she will be scared, but if a woman is, she will consider her to be motherly and friendly (or posibbily gay lol)
women didnt get many rights, so these are the places where they get some leeway

I wish I had the answer but it evidently is not taken seriously. Not all men that are doing time are really guilty of rape even though they were accused. This is one law or several that need to be changed as men are really getting screwed on this setup and I don't think they are enjoying it.

As far as murder, I think it has something to do with women being less likely to be repeat offenders.

Typically, the punishment fits the crimes -- many women have reasons, such as revenge or self-defense, for their crimes. For men where there are somewhat justifiable reasons, the punishment is usually less than if it's premeditated or in cold blood.
