keeps coming up no cam found even though the light on cam is on

You should make sure that you installed the hardware correctly in you computer one way to see if see that your web-cam is been detected is by going to the device manager,(click start go to my computer and press the right mouse button, then go to divice manager and see if your cam able or unable. You could also reinstall the program .

your pc still thinks you have old cam ,, you must un-install old cam so new cam configurations will take effect, your new cam should have came with a cd to use when installing

if you have proxy that my be one of the reasons if you r on yahoo messenger try to go on mn messengr and instal ther ,it my work ther hapend with my .web good luck..
