well the biggest one is that all country songs are pretty much depressing and about losing a girlfriend or something and rock can be about a lot more different subjects. and country singers have a country accent if you will.

Not very much any more, but listen to some C&W and some rock hits from, say, the early '70's and you'll never have to ask again. The lines have been blurred considerably since music became synthesized. It was different when it was simply played and recorded.

Country songs mostly tell a story, and have steel gutars, rock is just loud and great to get some stress out by screaming along with the band!!!But i like both kinds of music!!!!

Country songs have slide guitars, and a distinct twang sound. Rock songs....don't.
