Only if you are having trouble disposing of the soup and condiments in the garbage can. Dont fix it if it isnt broke. Spend your money where it is needed. But if you are needing a tax write off, a disposal would be a good one.

Yes, I think so. Soup often makes a mess when in the trash, especially if there is a hole in the bag. I would think that being that its only soup and condiments being drained, the disposal should last you quit some time. Good luck with your decision!

Disposals are really great and not too expensive but you have to consider a few things. Will people use it or just throw it out as usual in the can? How many times do you see aluminum cans in a trash can that is right next to a recycle bin? People don't think. What impact will it have on your water\sewage bill?

No. The items you mention are liquid based and use of a disposal for such items would not be cost effective. And eventually some one will drop some utensil into the disposal and more money will need to be spent to repair or replace the unit.

Just make sure you have heavy weight garbage bags.
Who would pay for the garbage disposal and it's installation?

For soup? No. Condiments? No. Unless it's something 'solid', don't waste your time or money.
Just my opinion though
