laughing out loud by the way most of the time when people type this they actually aren't laughing out loud.

Wow, wish someone would write this for me! My boyfriend's not good at poetry - but he is pretty funny. When we first hooked up a friend called us lovebirds and he told her that we weren't birds - we were dragons.

There are also variations: ROFL (rolling on the floor laughing) and LMAO (laughing my *** off). Along with LOL they can be used truthfully or sarcastically.
