I think it is actully fake metals since Archimedies said eureka when he found out some ring was fake for the some king

It is the name of a metal company and also a band. No metals are in the classifcation of eureka. So someone is joking with you then.

I have never heard the expression before. It could conceivably refer to precious metals, as "Eureka!" was what Archimedes was purported to have said when he was tasked to appraise the purity of a gold fabrication, and figured out how to do so when he sat in his bathtub.
