Yes, married filing separately, but as said before, this would be a huge mistake as you will pay a ton of taxes!!

I was told that you can file "married filing separate" but you can not file as head of household. That is if you are female.

You can file "married filing seperately" at any time, if you are married.

The down side is it puts you in the highest tax bracket, higher than even filing single.

To file jointly you must both agree to file that way. There is no way he can file jointly if YOU have your W-2's! Right?
