Does it help with fertility? Not sure if this is a dumb question, but I'm not a trained acupuncturist, so please inform me if you know. Thanks.

The conception vessel begins on the tip of the tongue then goes down the front of the body to the hui yin point between the genitals and anus. The governing vessel begins at the hui yin point then goes up the spine to the head, over the head and down the face to the palate above the two front teeth.
When you press the tip of your tongue against the palatem and contract the hui yin point; this completes the microcosmic orbit. often called the small universe.
Nothing do do with fertility other than where the qi vessel ends between the genitals and anus.

The point on the chin is Ren-24 (Cheng Jiang in Pin-yin). As far as I know, there is not a single point referred to as the "conception vessel point". The Conception Vessel is an Extraordinary Vessel that runs down the anterior midline of the body, and is one of the two extraordinary vessel that has its own unique points not found on other channels. While the entire channel doesn't directly relate to fertility, certain points along the channel can be used in conjunction with fertility treatments.
Ren-24, in my experience, is mostly used for conditions localized to the face.
