One possibility is that the shower-induced changes to the termperature
and humidity of the room is changing not your weight, but the
sensitivity and accuracy of the scale itself.
Have you ever tried weighing a large, fixed weight before and after a
shower? A big old 20-pound jar full of pennies, or something of that
sort? I'd be curious to learn what happens.

I don't know that you are. If you are weighing yourself after a shower, it could be that you're lighter cause you don't have clothes on.

i don't know. it may have something to do with cleanliness. like the water..and stuff. not sure.
you're not LIGHTER per se, you just FEEL lighter. big difference.
it's not like you lose 2 pounds after going into the shower! lol

Because you washed all the skankiness off. Or your weighing yourself naked, will in that case, would make you lighter

Maybe it's how hot the water is and it makes it like a steam room or something?
Just guessing
