how do u know if there is chlorine in tap water. I just bought a showerhead that purifies chlorine, but I am not sure if it really removes chlorine. I also heard chlorine causes hair loss, which ticked me off. If anyone know how to find out chlorine in water.. please answer this question. Thank you

Take a bath. If your skin is all wrinkly after a half an hour in the tub, You have over chlorinated water and need to contact your local water department immediatly. If you believ that i have a bridge for sale. You could just purchase a test kit from lowes or home depot.

also the water company has forms to tell you whats in it

Boston has some nice water too

we got whole reservoir like 150 miles from here in the woods, so no chlorine in the water even though its a city

saves like $5 on bottled water

Go anywhere that sells pool supplies. They sell a reagent that reacts with chlorine and tells you how much is in the water.

Go to the poolstore and get a ''pool water test kit''. Follow the directions, you will be looking for a low reading. You can also have you water tested:

taste it because if u have ever gone in a pool and gotten some water in your mouth u can taste it if u try
