Hmm well I recommend
Bleach
It has something for everyone.
great fighting.
smooth animation (except as of late, i mean I understand the fillers having crappy animation but now they need to fix it)
great fights - oh yes, the fights
good plot - the plotline is so interesting, and I love the suprises
romance - because really the 1st part is a wonderfully romantic story even if the characters aren't romantic themselves.
characters - are total love, such interesting personalities, the main character does have a hero complex though <_<
fanservice - because what would an anime be with out fanservice, and it's for the girls and the guys
music - I love the bleach soundtracs, Will of the Heart <3

someothers hmm dun watch much except bleach usually just stick to manga...
but
Ouran High School Host Club - terribly funny -
Saiunkoku Mongatari - this story line is different and interesting and many many bishies. Ryuuki and Shuurei <3
Naruto, Inuyasha and Full Metal Alchemist - I haven't watched these animes but many people say they're good. And I love the mangas of these.

Uninhabited Planet Survive- It's not really a popular anime and it's probably aimed at 12 year olds but it has a good story and I love it. Though you'll have to dl it, it's not on youtube or anything. But the plot is good and I like how they have to figure out how to do things. (think swiss family robinson's or something)

Oh almost forgot
Fruits Basket <333333333333
Sailor Moon - because everyone MUST watch this
Speed Racer - the best anime
Full Moon Wo Sagashite - only if to listen to eternal snow

I just discovered Full Metal Panic! and Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu.

I love it and cannot get enough. In fact, I went out today bought both complete box sets so I can watch all the eps at once instead of waiting for it to air OnDemand.

It is FUNNY!!! with a light love story and some Mechrobot action. (Fumoffu is only the funny love story part and it is hilarious!!! )

If you like action, a litlle romance, and some drama, try Eureka Seven. The Animation is just beautiful! Also, if you like shojo, pick up a Fruits Basket DVD.
