what if anything would trigger you to kill? Do you know the line that needs to be crossed?

Sometimes, I wonder what makes people kill.

Obviously in times of war most but not all people will kill.

We have our sacred cows be they family or whatever.

Do you know yours?

Defending the life of a loved one, or protecting myself. That's the only way I would kill somone.

I don't believe in killing under any circumstances including the death penalty. I just don't think any human has the right to take the life of another human. But it is really hard to say what a person would do in a given situation unless you were in it. If it was kill or be killed that would be a hard one but self defense is allowed even though I would hope that I would injure the person enough so I could get away. Having to live with the fact that you took someone elses life would be hell!

The strange thing is that even though I oppose war I could in theory see myself killing someone if I was under too much stress and lost it. It would have to be pretty insane, though... like if I was being harassed every day and thought that it was the only solution or else I'd be in danger. That's not to say that sometimes I wish people would die, but I don't really mean it when I think that.

If you have access to a gun and someone enters your house and starts shooting your family - would you use it to shoot the killer before he murders more people around you?

If you did not - would you not be just as guilty as the murderer?

The only people who will not kill are just total cowards. Yes all thinking people would not want to and would like a world where there was no such thing as killing but that is not the reality we live in.

We all have a responsibility as human beings to protect the lives of others. To opt out is simply moral cowardice and self interest.

I want to be in God's favor, so I can say that I wont kill, but I would say if I wasn't a person who had a proper fear of God, I would have the line that was crossed be someone physically hurting my family. But you never know what you will do when put in those situations...................

Definately the children thing. If anyone hurt my daughter I would murder them in the most painful way I could think of. I don't even think that should be a punishable defense. It could be a loophole in the law called "justifiable revenge".

If anyone threatened my family then I would kill if I had no other choice. When you use deadly force on another person you have to be very certain that their are no other options or you could be going to jail.

The first MoFo that EVER hurts my children in any way, sexual, murder, etc better hide and hide good because I will not hesitate to end their life and I will use any object or form that needs be. I will make damn sure that I get to them before the cops would, but that is probably the only thing that would cause me to kill someone.

I have three small children and God forbid anyone kill, kidnap, or sexually abuse my children. I will dispose of them in the most inhuman of ways and ask for forgiveness later. That is the only circumstance I can think of that would drive me to that degree.

i could kill someone easily if they were to hurt my daughter in any kind of way. i don 't think i would even think twice about it.
now, afterwards i am sure i will regret it because i would have to be the victim 2 times as well as my child.
i think if a man or woman kills someone who has molested or hurt their child the dead person deserves it.
